Children love Halloween, so you shouldn’t hesitate so much about whether you should make a children’s Halloween cake… it will be an ideal surprise for the little ones in the house! And this Halloween cake for children is perfect for them.
Ingredients

For the cake
- 3 medium eggs
- 3 yogurt bowls filled with flour
- 2 yogurt bowls filled with sugar
- 1 lemon yogurt
- 1 packet of yeast
- 1 yogurt bowl filled with sunflower oil
- orange food coloring
- black dye
- blue dye
- Yellow dye
For the cream between biscuits
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons of icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon of colored sticks
For the cheese frosting
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1.5 tablespoons of icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- orange food coloring
Preparation of the Halloween cake for children
We could tell you to put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix. But no, that would be a bit… “vague”, don’t you think? We will show you each process step by step!
For the cake
- Let’s start by making the cake. To do this, sift the flour into a bowl , then make a hole in the center, and add the yeast . Stir a bit to cover.
- In another bowl, beat the three medium eggs together with the sugar , which will result in a whitish mixture that should have doubled in volume. To this mixture you add the sunflower oil and beat again.
- Next, pour the flour and beat again , and each time a creamier mixture will form. To this mixture you add the lemon yogurt . Beat once more so that everything is well integrated.
- Distribute the mixture in three molds. You add blue and yellow to one, so that it turns a green tone. To another of black color and to another of orange color.
- Put the three molds in the oven, at a temperature of about 180º C, so that they cook for about 25-30 minutes. Depending on the oven, it may take more or less, so when they take about 20 minutes, click to see how they are made inside. You know, when it comes out clean, then you can take it out.
- When ready, let the biscuits rest for about 10 minutes. Unmold and let cool for another 20 minutes.
Preparation of the cream between biscuits
- This is not very difficult to prepare either. First sift the icing sugar into a bowl. Then mix with the cream cheese until you get a homogeneous mix.
- To this mixture you add the colored sticks and beat again well. As a result, it should be one color (sometimes it can be random, it all depends on the sticks you used).
- Place one of the three parts of the cake on a base and cover with this mixture that you have prepared, having the cream ready between the cakes.
Preparation of the cheese frosting
- Now it’s time to make the cheese forting, for which you are going to beat the icing sugar (previously sieved), with the creamy cheese.
- Add the butter , a tablespoon will suffice, and beat vigorously so that it is well integrated. Then add the milk, pouring it in the form of a thread, without stopping beating.
- Once everything is well integrated, add the orange coloring and beat again, until you get that color.
final assembly
- Cover the surface that you had filled with the cream cheese with another level of cake , the one that you like best.
- Then, the surface of this is going to be covered with the cheese frosting that you have prepared, until it is completely covered.
- Now you have two options, either grate the last cake and put it on top, or put it directly and cover it with cream . Whatever you choose will be fine!
